AI Disclosure & Content Guidelines

This document explains how Cosmic AI generates content and the standards we ask you to follow. It supplements our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Content Is AI-Generated

Text, images, audio, and research reports produced by Cosmic AI are generated by artificial intelligence using third-party models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Suno). AI output:

• May be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or out of date ("hallucinations").
• Is not professional advice (legal, medical, financial, tax, or safety-critical).
• Should be reviewed and verified by a human before you rely on it or publish it.

2. Labeling AI Content

We encourage — and in some contexts you may be legally required — to disclose that content is AI-generated, especially for: news or political content, images/audio of real people, marketing claims, and any use where a reader could be misled. Do not present AI output as human-created where doing so would deceive or where disclosure is required by law or platform rules.

3. Deepfakes and Likeness

Do not use image, voice, or video features to create realistic depictions of real people without their consent, or to create non-consensual intimate imagery, election disinformation, or fraudulent impersonations. Several US states regulate synthetic media and voice/likeness; you are responsible for compliance.

4. Academic Integrity (relevant to the education roadmap)

Cosmic AI includes writing, paraphrasing, and research tools. Using them to submit work as your own where your school or institution prohibits AI assistance may constitute academic dishonesty. You are responsible for following your institution's rules. Features described as "humanizing" content must not be used to evade legitimate AI-detection required by an institution or by law, or to commit fraud.

5. Copyright and Ownership

AI may produce output similar to existing works and may produce the same output for different users. We assign you the rights we have in your Output (see the Terms of Service), but we cannot guarantee that Output is original or non-infringing. You are responsible for clearing rights before commercial use. See the DMCA / Copyright Policy.

6. Reporting Problems

Use the 👍 / 👎 controls to flag low-quality or unsafe output, and report serious issues to [email protected].
